HYO JIN MOON IN COURT FOR WIFE ABUSE

In the Boston Globe, Metro Region, Saturday, June 29, 1996, there was an article about Hyo Jin Moon's (Rev. Moon's oldest son) pleading guilty to violating a court order prohibiting him from contact with his wife. Nan Sook, as you may know, is in hiding since Hyo Jin was in a drug rehab in Florida, and she has a restraining order out on him because, as she stated in court, she feels threatened by him. The article quotes her, "I still feel, if he wants to get me, he can. He has so much power." It continues, "Nansook fled the lavish Moon family compound in Irvington, NY last August to escape a marriage that she says was ravaged by her husband's alcohol- and cocaine-induced rages. Moon denies Nansook's charges of abuse and infidelity, but concedes the substance abuse that prompted the family to remove him last year as head of its Manhatten video production company. In court this week, his lawyers expressed confidence that Moon's new therapist will be more successful in addressing his addictions than those he retained in the last year...."
...
"As Nansook describes it, life in Moon's Westchester County mansion - with drivers, cooks, maids and nannies - was neither a spiritual nor a fairy tale existence. She had not completed high school and spoke little English when she was wed to a man who, she says, treated her with undisguised contempt. She had her first child at 16 and her last only eight months before her escape."
"I had reached a point in my life when I could no longer endure and live with the constant threatening, verbal abuse and incidents of physical violence," she (Nansook) told the court in a tearful plea for enforcement of the restraining order she obtained against Moon in Cambridge last October."

The article ends with saying, "The same year that Nansook and Moon were married, Mose Durst, president of the Unification Church of America, presided at an engagement ceremony in New York for 843 couples matched by Rev. Moon. "As drugs, violence and promiscuity threaten to destroy our culture," Durst said, "these men and women seek to embrace the classical values of morality, civic virtue and social justice." Apparently, the messiah's No.1 son missed that message."

Well, Damian and all you other "apologists" (UC leaders) ...how do you explain away the "fallen nature" of the "perfect, sinless son" of the Messiah, who, according to the DP has no fallen nature??? Oh, just another one of those "terrible lies" spread by the satanic media, right? Well, you're arguing against the facts: The court records are available to be checked! Besides, the Boston Globe would most likely not dare to publish something as discriminating that was NOT based on facts. Not worth the trouble. And "Metro Region" is not exactly the front page. (Not much money in it.)

The report does not surprise me much because I was a member for 6 1/2 years (until 93) and through contacts I still have in the church and people who left recently I knew before it was published that Hyo Jin was in fact on a drug rehab in Florida and that Nan Sook has separated from him, and that she is in hiding.

Bottom line: EITHER IF THE PERFECT, SINLESS SON OF THE MESSIAH (AS MOON PROCLAIMED HIM TO BE!) COMMITS SINS HE IS NOT SINLESS AND WITHOUT FALLEN NATURE AT ALL ... AND THE DP IS AN INCREDIBLE LIE DESIGNED TO ENSLAVE PEOPLE AND MAKE THEM UNQUESTIONINGLY SERVE A GREEDY, POWERHUNGRY MAGLOMANIAC WHO CALLS HIMSELF MESSIAH WHO AND LOVES TO EXPLOIT AND CONTROL PEOPLE!

...I'm waiting for some of Mr. Moon's "dirt" to finally rise to the top and to be exposed. Of course he denies all of it ...as all abusers do.

Someone ought to interview Nan Sook and ask her how Moon REALLY lives and what she has REALLY seen... I suppose that's why she's afraid for her life. (I wouldn't be surprised if some people in the UC were planning to make sure she'll never talk...)
